The REDcycle Program makes it easy for consumers to keep plastic bags and packaging out of landfill.
First, please check the packaging for any sign of the new Australian Recycling Label (ARL) symbols (find out more about these at https://recyclingnearyou.com.au/arl/). In the absence of one of these symbols (note these are gradually being rolled out to ALL types of packaging – this will just take a little bit of time), use the below table as your guide.
- Biscuit packets (outer wrapper only)
- Bread bags (without the tie)
- Bubble wrap (large sheets cut into A3 size pieces)
- Cat and dog food pouches (as clean and dry as possible)
- Cellophane from bunches of flowers (cut into A3 size pieces)

Please note that the REDcycle Program has been developed for post consumer household plastic. Participating supermarkets are not obliged to accept large volumes of commercial plastic waste.
- Collect all the soft plastics that you can't recycle at home.
- Please ensure they are dry and as empty as possible.
- Drop your soft plastics into your nearest REDcycle collection bin and RED Group will do the rest.
- There are participating supermarkets all around Australia. Find the REDcycle drop off point nearest to you.
- REDcycle bins are typically located near the checkout. There are currently a few different types of REDcycle bins in use depending on the store so please ask at the customer service desk if you can't locate the bin
- The collected plastic is returned to RED Group's facility for initial processing, then delivered to Victorian manufacturer Replas where it undergoes an incredible transformation.
- Replas uses the material as the resource to produce a huge range of recycled-plastic products, from fitness circuits to sturdy outdoor furniture, bollards, signage and more.

Hyderabad, Mar 28 (IANS): The Telangana Endowments Department has joined hands with India Post for home delivery of 'prasad' at ten of the state's popular temples.
Telangana Endowments Minister Indrakaran Reddy officially launched the service here on Saturday.
Officials said that under the scheme, devotees can make the prescribed payment at the nearest post office and avail the service. Thereafter, prasad - in the form of dry fruit, will be delivered at the devotees' homes within a couple of days.

The service is also being made available through 1.6 lakh post offices spread all over the country.
The temples from which prasad will be available under the service, include Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple at Yadagirigutta, Sitarama Ramachandra Swamy temple at Bhadrachalam, Jnana Saraswathi temple at Basara, Anjaneya Swamy temple at Kondagattu, Mallikarjuna Swamy temple at Komaravelli, Ujjaini Mahankali temple and Ganesh temple in Secunderabad, Yellamma-Pochamma temple in Balkampet and Hanuman temple in Karmanghat.

Reddy said that the Endowments Department is also making arrangements for devotees to book offline arjitha seva services of select temples, at post offices. The facility is primarily for devotees who are unable to make online bookings of sevas.
